Hollywood has been known for producing shorter-to-average height beauties as actresses and most leading men aren’t nearly as tall as they look on the big screen. Yet over the past few years, tinsel-town actresses have moon-lighted as models on covers of magazines and now in designer campaigns. Angelina Jolie just landed the newest Louis Vuitton campaign and True Grit star, Hailee Steinfeld has recently posed for Mui Mui.
To flip the script, models are discovering the acting bug with the likes of super model Gemma Ward in Pirates of the Caribbean and Rosie Huntington-Whitley co-starring in Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon.

Perhaps Hollywood will have to step it up a bit and hire taller leading men to reach the height of long-legged supermodels like Huntington-Whitely. When asked if she was taller than her leading man, Shia Labeouf, Huntington-Whitely said, “Yes, by utterly a lot,” she explained. “I had to wear heels the total approach through filming. When it came to our kissing scene, I said, ‘Michael, please let me take my boots off!”
